Wide to develop most of the special effects for Aldeus on PC workstations.
The company has supplied powerful graphic workstations on which digital
compositing and editing is taking place.
KAMELEON
STUDIO
This
Parisian studio specialises in the realisation of prosthetics, accessories,
models, puppets, animatronics and special effects make-ups. Kameleon has
been working with film productions for over 10 years, most recently on
Besson's "Joan of Arc" and Ganz's "Le Pacte des Loups".
Kameleon brings its know-how to the making of Aldeus new armours and accessories
as well as several of its fantastic creatures.
KODAK
Kodak
granted significant rebates on the purchase of 35 mm film.
MATROX
Matrox
is a leader in hardware and software development for digital video on
PC who has provided the Aldeus CGI team with the Matrox DigiSuite, a set
of high tech cards with open architecture that transform a Windows NT
graphic workstation into a real-time non-linear editing platform. The
DigiSuite also handles compositing, titling, 3D animation and audio integration,
and is designed to work with Discreet's software suite.
MODERN
UPRISING STUDIOS
With
studios in New York and Orlando and an eye on Europe, Modern Uprising
Studios (MUS) is an industry leader in motion capture services. MUS uses
a 16 camera real-time Motion Analysis Optical Motion Capture to provide
top quality motion capture data to the entertainment community and related
industries. A brand-new partner, they are providing motion capture data
and services for Aldeus' battle scenes.

attracted by the innovative side of Aldeus, provided the 35 mm Cinemascope
camera with full set of lenses used for the shoot of the trailer film.

This French company distributes resins and associated materials; it provided
advice on the manufacturing of armours and supplied products at a low
cost.
RAPIN-CORBEAU
This
French firm specialises in precision Styrofoam-cutting and resin-coated
sculptures and uses processes that reduce production time by as much as
80 % over traditional methods. The polystyrene used for the fortress walls
and the polyester coating on Aldeus' new armours were supplied by Rapin-Corbeau.
TRANSPALUX
MULTIVOLTS
French
leader in the rental of lighting and electric equipment for the cinema,
Transpalux / Multivolts generously supplied all light and power equipment.
WACKER
CHEMIE GmbH
German
company Wacker Chemie, a global technology leader in semiconductors, polymers,

moulds for Aldeus' prototype armours.
